I'm not gonna lie to you: I stopped watching Dancing With the Star s somewhere around the start of season 4, mainly because the viewing experience started reminding me of those mornings where you're in the shower, and for the love of all that's holy ...

Resolved Question: Informal reception after semi formal wedding?
Ok my fiance wants to have a nice wedding. He wants us to have the traditional wedding, but for the reception he wants a plain simple "pasture party". I suggested a tent and he said I was trying to make it fancier than he has in mind...We are having our wedding in our barn fall next year and we know we will serve bbq. He said we can have our 2 goose neck trailers out there for something... WHAT?? And how is this going to look...I'm having a hard time visualizing it.. ok the barn is big and beautiful and I've been googling weddings in barns and actually found alot of different venues. I don't see why mine can't be just as beautiful as those. And if your a religious person think of this Jesus was born in a stable.. and what is a stable??? I have to agree w/ the gooseneck trailer thing... don't see how it will fit in and think it will be trashy.. He is country and thinking of ways to make our wedding more country... which I'm perfectly happy with a country wedding.. but the trailers seem more redneck... My husband sells scrap metal for a living. He has some containers that has things like cords, brass, aluminum and copper in them. It was neatly beside the house but out of public view. We had a bag of cans outside by our backdoor in a trash container. We had a table outside that we were planning on hauling off. and a couch by the curb that we were also planning on hauling off. We had a couple of my kids toys in the backyard. We had a plastic outdoor bench in the backyard. We had a trailer that had a little bit of scrap metal in it but not a whole lot. We had 2 bicycles beside the house. We had a bbq grill in front of the house. My husband had tools in a toolbox underneath the trailer because he was working on our vehicle. That is all the stuff we had around our house. Our landlord got a notice to clean up our yard by the code enforcement officer. Our landlord failed to tell us anything. One day we come home and everything is gone. There is some letters taped to our door that said it was a search warrant. It is signed by the judge. All the stuff I mentioned above is taken except the trailer (code enforcement officer said he would have taken it but our truck blocked the trailer in) When asked what is going to happen the code enforcement officer said that they are going to put a lien against the house My question is this... 1.since a majority of that stuff wasn't trash can they legally take it? 2. Do they have to give us a chance to pay it before putting a lien against the house? If so, how long? I am in dallas texas. I do not want to confront the landlord about this, he is a really good landlord. This is NOT side money. My husband sells scrap for a living. He can make 150-200 a day. Can't make that working for Burger King. My main question is.....Do they have to give us a chance to pay it BEFORE putting a lien against the house? If so, then I would rather pay it and be done with it. If you can go figure this one out.... The code enforcement officer issued a ticket to my husband about a broken window. 650.00 ticket. If he can issue the ticket to my husband then he should have issued the warning letter to my husband as well right? I can't allow my landlord to pay the fines. He has been really good to us. If we don't have all the rent there has been times that he said don't worry about it and never brought it up again. I cannot put this on my landlord. Yes they are charging for them obtaining the search warrant and taking everything off the property. What I want to know is if they can automatically place the lien against the property for the amount owed or do they have to give me a chance to pay it first? moreResolved Question: How to deal with this? (work related)?
My husband works in construction and has been at this particular job site for over a year. His supervisor is a nice guy, has invited our family to his house for BBQ’s once in a while, and my husband and this man get along pretty well for the most part. Well about 4 months ago, the supervisor just flipped out on my husband when they were in the work trailer discussing some work related stuff. The supervisor was having a bad day and had personal things going on, but got very angry with my husband. Instead of fighting the guy, my husband started to walk away and the supervisor got angry that he wouldn’t fight him. 5 years ago? Yes, my husband would have clocked him. But he has a 5 yr old daughter, we have a 21 month old son, and his priorities are different now. Well the supervisor went after my husband and ended up punching him a few times. Again, my husband said he was walking away and didn’t want to fight back. (Note: the supervisor is a heavy guy and my husband is in great shape so he COULD have punched him if he wanted to) And after the fact, the supervisor called my husband, kissing his ass and apologizing profusely. He said NOT to tell any person on the job site. Well either way, my husband needs his job and he had no intentions on running his mouth, however somehow it got out anyways. Whether someone witnessed it, overheard, whatever the case is, it’s now public knowledge amongst his workers. My husband is now at a different job site with a different supervisor. Only because the job ended NOT because of any other reason. And the big bosses called him in for a meeting today and wanted to know the details of what happened back 4 months ago. My husband called me freaking out in fear he’d lose his job, but he still says he did nothing wrong and never fought back. And now he doesn’t want to be put in a position to have to rat someone out… I told my husband to go ahead to the meeting, explain that it was just an argument, and answer their questions as simple as possible. No extra information. And I also told him to say that he needs his job and really doesn’t want to put himself in jeopardy. What would you do in this position? Would you speak up about the person they’re inquiring about? How would you deal with this? Well of course he WANTED to report it but knowing there was a chance he could lose his job over it made him think twice. We have kids, a house, bills to pay, a life to live, mouths to feed ya know? And all the guys at the job site want my husband to sue the company, but gosh, everyone in the US wants to sue everyone. And quite honestly, I personally don’t think suing anyone over this would resolve anything. And well, it would certainly get my husband fired, that’s for sure! If you’re talking about ME as the nosey wife, then I think you couldn’t be more wrong! My husband and I talk about out work life to one another all the time. When something bothers him, he talks to me about it. When something is on my mind, I talk to him about it. It doesn’t matter if it’s work related or not. moreResolved Question: Can I refill my bbq sized propane tank from a house-sized propane tank?

I mean every time i hear people say "he was hanging out with the college profs" as if that was a bad thing.
