1st to say bare with me cause i know my questionis long: My husband and i just got married 7 months ago & were so happy it hurt...but already we are struggling to stay together. a little background: we met in jan of 2006 (he initiated contact ) and became exclusive in Aug 2006. before we became exclusive i ended up finding out that he was going back and forth in a on and off relationship (he had been with the girl 8 years). I had been single for a few years prior & was dating freely during htis time & this was not kept secret. he decided to leave the girl and came to me asking to be with me exclusivly. by nov 2006 he proposed. in jan of 2007 i found out that he had slept with his ex a few time and complained about me to her. i found this out bedacuse she called me & told me. when i confrounted him he he 1st denied then came clean & asked 4 forgivness. we worked it out and eventually married in may 2008. by the wedding we were maddly in love & i couldnt have asked for a more perfect wedding and honeymoon. my only complaint with him was how often he went out with his friends (2-3 nights a week) while starting to neglect to take me out at least once a week. this continued after we got back from the honeymoon...but the last few months it has gotten worst. we argued about soending new years together...he wanted to go out with his friends & I wanted us to do something special. we ended up spending it together @ the family bar. we argued that day all the way up until 1030pm...needless to say i was not in a party mood. so to keep peace i just didnt say anyhting & kept to myself. we get home new years day about 230am...and as i'm putting his cell phone on the charger it rings (he is in bed drunk from the celabration) I answer and it is a woman asking to speak with him. i asked who it was & she gave her name. I asked what she wanted & she got att. with me even after I told her I was his wife. the a few minutes later someone else calls & I answer & they hang up. of course my husband & i argued and the argument went over into the next day. I checked our cell phone records to see what tye of calls/texts he had been getting and saw that these 2 females & him had been communicating regularly for at least the past month. his explaniation is that everyone knows he is married & that he is just cool & social. it took us until 2am the next day (1/2) for him to admit i was not over reacting. let me fill int he gap by saying that all day on 1/1 until about 2pm i would not give him his cell phone until he gave me the passcode to see what the girls were texting him. he still didnt give it to me. saying that even though we are married we still need some privacy. All that said is to say I don't trust him anymore & believe he is cheating. But now we are married & I take that seriously. how do i know for sure if he cheated & should I try to work it out since it has not been a year yet? thanks for all of your insight. im not looking for pity or feel sorry for me answers...you are right yes I did see how he was with his ex...but yes we were both madly in love...otherwise i would not have married him. i did think that what was btw us was diff as i did not pursue him he came after me...how we even 1st started talking was he got my ph# from someone else. also to add if this helps neither of us has kids. he is 28 about to be 29 in a month & I am 29 about to be 30 in 2 months. we have a house, car and a puppy. and to make matters ceven more complicated. his mother & i are in business together & our families love eo & get along great. more

My 14 year old niece stole my daughter's cell phone while spending the night a couple of weeks ago. On Christmas day she came over and took the charger as well. The phone was recovered just a few days ago. This isn't the first time that she's been in trouble. She's already on probation. Her mother either tells her to lie (saying that my daughter let her use the phone) or covers everything up (by erasing all personal info on the phone before returning it). Voting Question: What is wrong with my Palm Centro cell phone?

I dropped my cell phone in the toilet (it fell out of my sweatshirt pocket) and I dried it, let it sit in rice, and vacuumed the phone. I waited over a day to put the battery back in the phone and when I did A) the battery said it was charging (the charging light went on) but the phone was not even plugged into the charger B) the screen is only visible when put under the light I have a Palm by Centro and when the battery was in I tested all of the keypad features...everything works including the touch screen, the only thing that doesn't work is the lighting of the screen, the lighting of the keyboard and all of the buttons work. I don't want to have to spend 300.00 for a new Palm Centro...What do you think the problem is and could it be just something to do with the light for the screen that needs replaced...well that and maybe the battery? more

Resolved Question: Why does my cell phone keep dying after only 5-10 minutes off of its charger?

My dad just gave me his old blackberry dash. He switched the little card on the inside so that all of my old information from my old phone was in this one. It works great, but only when it's on its charger. Once I take it off of the charger, it dies in only about 5 minutes. I'm going to ask my dad about it when he gets home from work, but I was wondering if anyone knew why it is doing this so that I could fix it now. If you know anything tell me. Voting Question: How do cell phone chargers use power even when they aren't plugged into a cell phone?

I saw a commercial that says we should unplug our cell phone chargers when they're not being used, because they continue to use electricity. I've never had a cell phone charger that had any light or switch. I simply plugged it into the cell phone and it converted AC power to DC power and trickle charged my cell phone. It seems to me, that if nothing is drawing power, no power is being converted and/or being used. Unless the cell phone is plugged in the circuit isn't closed and the current isn't being drawn. The same with a coffee pot, that doesn't keep hot water on standby. Unless the switch is turned on, the circuit isn't closed and the current doesn't flow. Televisions, computers, radios and other divices that have leds, clocks or something that requires that a circuit be maintained closed, I can understand. But with a device, such as a cell phone charger. I can't think of anything that requires a circuit to remain closed until the cell phone is plugged in. more

Voting Question: My cell phone will not charge. How do I tell if it is a faulty battery or charger?

I don't know if it is my cell phone charger/cell phone port or my cell phone battery. I plug in my phone and it will not charge. I took the battery out and left my phone plugged in and it still remained on (I don't know if that helps, but I thought I'd add it in there.) It was working find last night, and just today it started acting this way. I am leaning to think that it is my battery because I do in fact charge my phone a lot, and I usually left it plugged in (just recently found out it is better to let the battery drain before a recharge.) Resolved Question: Battery charger says car battery has open cell but not until the battery is charged?

I purchased a car battery charger to trickle charge my battery whenever I'm forgetful and don't unplug the heater that goes into my lighter outlet. Anyhow the battery is very good, always starts, even in -15F weather. When I charge it though, I'll leave the charger on 2 amps and I usually check it after 2 hours and check the charge and then 2 hours later I go check it again and it always give error F03 which is "Internal Open Cell / Sulfated Condition". The charge gauge reads 14.5v (my battery is a standard 12v) and my charger is designed for 12v only. Why does it charge, and then finally give the error? more

What do you do with yours and what should I do with mine? Do you just trash it, trade it in, give it to a friend, or donate it? I have heard of places you may donate cell phones to. If I decide upon donating, how am I supposed to know whether or not the donation establishment is legitimate and is actually sending my mobile to the needy for free, and not just sending it to some cellular phone company or somewhere else for quick and easy money? Additional: The phone I am through with is nice and functions perfectly. I have the charger, bluetooth headset, and case. I am almost positive I am going to visit my grandmother in January. I have till Monday January 26th till my classes start. The cheapest flight, I found is the 6th to the 16th. 10 days, which is a good enough length. But how much should I pack? I plan on taking a back pack. Its a burton skateboard back pack and then I have one of those small Dakine back packs. I do not plan on checking either, stupid fees. I am thinking 5-6 pairs of jeans. 10 long sleeves, 10 tanks to go under. 1 reg bra 1 sports bra and 10 pairs of underwear and a pair or two of socks. Ill buy shampoo there. And my make up, winter hat, hair brush, iPod and cell phone chargers and crap will all be in my dakine back pack. My burton back pack has a pocket that'll put laptop in andmy charger as well. Does that sound like too much? Or do you think that'll work? more

my remote controlled car uses a Nicd battery pack (6V 620 mAh). I would like to replace the 5 internal AA cells, however it seems that AA Nicd rechargable batteries with solder tags are getting more difficult to find. I just got a Motorola VU204 for xmas, and in the box it came with 3 booklets on how to use it, and a charger that would plug into a wall. It didn't come with a USB port or computer charger. Voting Question: Have I made an Aluminum Battery ?

I attempted to create a simple battery using Aluminum Foil. I scrunched up a 2 sections about 10 inches long into a tube, one for the anode, the other for the cathode. I used Magnesium Sulfate as the electrolyte at 1:15 ratio with warm tap water. I attached a 12 volt battery charger with the two electrodes in the solution. Gas bubbles immediately evolved from the cathode. (H2 ?) No bubbles evolved from the anode. I left the charger attached for a few minutes. The cell consistently measures 0.6 volts & recharges almost immediately. I measured 200ma. So then I connected 10 cells in series. This gave me an unexpected output of 4.8 volts. Not six as I expected from a true battery. there was enough energy to power a small LED flashlight module for a few minutes. The electrodes were fully submerged, this excludes the possibility of it being an Air Al battery. There is a buildup of a sulfate like substance on the cathode when left connected for a few hours. So I'd like to know what I've got ? Is it a true battery ? Or is it the H2 reforming with the O2 in the water creating a "Fuel Cell" like reaction ? If it is a battery, well then I can't find the combination referred to anywhere on the web. The only metal in contact with the solution is the Aluminum. The point of contact between the copper wire & the AL is dry. Lead acid employs only lead in different chemical states induced by applying current in a suitable electrolyte. Could this not be the same for the Aluminum ? more
