first off I am not trying to build a case against anyone! That is a easy way out, from facing my own shortcomings. It is so easy to find a co-signer for everyone and everything that does not go my way. I was homeless (I mean actually living on the street and not faking it) for 14 years. Everywhere from Seattle to San Diego and including Las Vegas. I'm telling you from my own expierence that my top priority needs when I was out there was a clean pair of socks and a sack lunch. I pretty much went through 3-4 years of transitional living before I was ready to get a place of my own. I am challengeing anyone reading this to gather up all the socks you never use (prefered white socks because they are more sterile and more cushion to them!) buy even just one loaf of bread, some sliced cheese, a pack of bolonga, mustard and mayonaise, some sacks for sack lunches, and get inventive. now put all this in your trunk and drive around all the spots where you have noticed street people and give it all away. I guarantee that you will feel real good after you have done this! There is so much that these folks need but of course just a little something mean so much to them. I live on a fixed income but in the past I came up with this idea about contacting business' to see if they would donate socks of maybe even products that are seconds that they cant sell in a store. If I could find somebody who would sponsor me that I'd be more than glad to go around and give socks away. Now, I would like to give a piece of advice. where the homeless are located there all also a lot of folks with criminal activity on their mind. NEVER!!!, set yourself up to be robbed by being so stupid as to open your wallet around these people. Ocasionally I will give some folks money but I will never be around street people with my wallet out of my pocket. I will usually pass them up, decide to give them a little cash, put my wallet back in my pocket and then walk up to them to give it to them. more

My wife seldom hit me, but her abuse was nonstop and vicious. She has used her tongue and mind to harm my life in ways an enemy wouldnt even stoop to doing. I have repeatedly demonstrated that I loved this woman more than any man could love, and she used my kind heart, dedication and love to hurt me beyond belief. To make it clear, I wanted a family so badly, that i married a woman 3000 miles away I met online. I didnt know she was so bad, addicted to Rx drugs, or so very pretty. 1. She called police and said I abused her, after I found out she went to Canada with a rockstar, and a note to another man saying she loved him. Luckily I had entire encounter on tape, and cops didnt arrest me as she asked 2. She filed false divorce documents saying I contributed $3,000, when it was $178,000...She stopped divorce, and we got back together 3. Upon catching her writing other men, she destroyed my computer files containing #1s adultry, so I told her to go home to FL. Weeks later I found out she said I beat her to a doctor and family, making it impossible for me to move in with her. 4. She told me she waned to be a model and singer, then told me she had to write every man on myspace, and put up pix in skimpy outfits. As a Christian, this has hurt my soul. For sake of marriage and love, I said ok to keep her happy, even though it seemed sinful to me. 5. She signed my name for a loan to get plastic surgery, taking this 110lb woman with DD boobs, to a FF. 6. I found this out the day of surgery, as I Iearned she was in Mexico getting procedure done. I flew down to help her get thru surgery, then asked her about loan a few days later upon recovery. We had a fight over that and other guys she was writing, Next day in CA, she destroyed my computer again(contained more of her adultry), then yelled boody murder. Cops came, she was bleeding from surgery. she told them to arrest me on violence. They did, then let me go a few day later without saying a word, cause they didnt believe her. 7. A week later, I got another computer and checked her myspace. She turned it into a sexual dating site, filled with love notes and sexual comments. I got a dui at 8 am next morning. 8. I tell her Im going to file forgery charges, she starts being nice, and we make up. I told her I wouldnt check myspace anymore, cause we just fight too much about the things she writes men. We had 3 good months, until she started being strangely mean. I go onto myspace, and see that she was writing blogs about me beating her. My coworkers were on her friends list and could read these lies. She was telling a country music star she adored him and how hot he was in many letters and comments. 9. Though this is not in sequence, thruout marriage she wrote me about 8000 of the most horrible text imaginable. I still have not read 1,154 of them that are stored on my computer. they were so mean and insane, that I couldnt sleep, was hurting my job performance, and sometimes made me drink. I am a recovering alcoholic and was sober for 10 1/2 years until the night of #1. 10. We seem to make up, I continue sending her about 3/4(800) of my paycheck a week to pay for her house and living. In order to do that, I never bought clothes, made sack lunches and never ate out, stopped playing golf and never had fun. The only thing I bought was clothes for her modeling shoots every week, cameras and gear for photography. I had so many money making inventions and ideas, but only contributed to her modeling dream. The only thing I ever asked my distant wife for, was a 5 minute goodmorning and goodnight call, which she hardly ever did, instead I got about 40 crazy mean text while I was at work. 11. When her text became so absurdedly mean, I quickly took off work and flew to Florida. It took me 3 days to get there tho, cause I had trouble finding a flight I could afford. She learned about it, because she broke into my email(as usual), and saw itenarary. She had time to clean up. Strangely tho, on my 3rd day there, laying beside her bed, I found 4 pix with her and the man from #1 kissing. She was wearing a shirt I bought her, and my ring on wrong finger, so we were married. I was so hurt, because she always said she was faithful, just wrote stupid stuff from nievity. I took pix of pix, showing the date, which was 2 days before I left florida. I didnt tell my wife I found pix until I was at airport entrance. We had a great time together, and she wanted me to stay longer. When i told her about pix, she didnt flinch, make a face, show expression at all. I told her i forgave her, and loved her, all with a kiss and a smile. I told her I wanted to move home though. Half way home, I received a text. thinking it was an apology i was happy. No, she said i was a pervert because I looked thru her kids underwear drawer. they were at dads, and I searched house after i found pix. 12. She was still sending me terrible text, and I was crying. couldnt believe this from a woman who cheated, and I I am posting a part 2, as it left out worst yet..it was too long to fit seekn2know, thank you. This may sound strange, but your answer made me smile and cry. I thought I was honoring my vow to God, but strangely enough it has hurt my soul. In my Role-playing game, the Player Charecters have finally entered the archives of their arch-enemies, and they find a series of filing cabinets that the PCs think contain the secret plans of the villians or vital clues. They might indeed, but first they have to sift through their bizare contents. I need some ideas for what the filing cabinets might contain. Like in GURPS Warehouse 23, they can be humorous, dangerous, mind-boggling, or mundane. They may contain mementos of other plots, or be references to other genres or stories. The cabinets themselves might open up into other dimensions or contain surprises themselves. They certainly contain evidence that the PCs have been monitored and manipulated by the villians the entire time. Here are some ideas I've come up with so far. Opening a file cabinet results in seeing the back of the PC’s head as he opens a filing cabinet. A complete fictional series detailing the PCs adventures. Last book is blank. Positronic brain. In office notes. The cabinet contains the contents of the PC’s pocket/backpack. If checked, the PC finds them empty, and must now replace them. A coffee-cup, still warm. Picture of PCs in a junkyard which is about of the size of the archives room. Rusted cars and other objects are roughly in the same arrangement as the objects in the archives room. The PCs are lying around, apparently drugged and hallucinating, while opening and closing filing cabinets. Scattered around are needles and other drug-related materials. A half wound video tape. A VCR is broken. A severed robotic arm. The filing cabinet opens onto flames and smoke. The filing cabinet is empty, but opens unto a another filing cabinet. The filing cabinet unlocks many filing cabinets and opens into another room of filing cabinets. A chess set with the pieces carved to resemble the PCs on opposing sides of the board. Captain America’s shield (or easily identifiable artifact), the filing cabinet will not open enough to pull it out. A million dollars in currency unknown to the PCs. A corpse wrapped in plastic, it is a clone of the PCs A withered human hand, it is the PCs as identified by wrist watch or jewelry. A sack lunch that has been there for decades. Copy of the most religious book of the PCs. It is written backwards. Photos and medical files of one of the PC's parents, detailing in the installation of various implanted chips. Map of the archives area. Handwritten says “WAY OUT?” points to hidden door. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. more

Our school does not allow peanut butter in it at any given time due to a student VERY allergic to them. Do you have any idea what to pack for a field trip in a sack lunch. Under a Labour Government, a Labour Government, I was recently sacked when two women managers decided they did not like men with beards and cobbled together a charge that I had been seen taking sandwiches to work and eating them during the working day, which lasts from 7am until 3pm, 4pm, sometimes 6pm. I have no statutory rights. Because I am not eligible to work in public sector administration (where my greatest expertise lies and what my CV best supports) due to Harriet Harman's male exclusion policy she is trying to extend throughout Industry, I had to accept a casual driving job with as much security as a dock yard worker in the 1930s. I worked through an agency who took on many more workers than they needed (mostly discarded middle-aged men) and could pick and choose on a daily basis according to their fancy. The idea that I should take a break from driving after 5 hours (according to the EU Working Time Directive, and ratified in the UK) is just laughed at. Lunch is only for wimps, and if I stick by the law and take my lunch, well you know where the Jobcentre is... So if this is where Labour and the Unions have brought us in the 11 years they have had in office, what precisely does the Labour Party believe in and stand for? CM: 1. there is a tacit understanding that women should be favoured for permanent jobs in the public sector, and only temporary contracts given to men. Although it is illegal, Harman admitted it recently. 2. There were no rights to secure employment in the driving job, that was the agreed understanding. In the public sector, they have statistics to prove they are doing what is needed to reduce discrimination against women. 3. The UK. 'm 15, male and a bit different from most teens! I have worked out that I am indeed weird lol. I do strange things. Not for attention but to see what people's reactions are. lol. The other week I brought a sack of potatos to school and put potatos all around my maths classroom just to see what people would do when they walked in. Well we got this internal creative writing short story. Minimum 600 words. I did about double. It got conflict which we need in a good story. But i failed and so I have to re sit but barely have much time. Teacher failed me BECAUSE i tell too much instead of the text being a story, But i dont full understand. so please help eg. recomend how i can change sentences to make it more of a story. Ive been failing so far this year in english and this is worth four credits! story is below. Thanks “Nice lay up bro”, is what I shouted to Justin on the day we first meet at the school basketball courts. Ever since the beginning of high school four years back, Justin and I had been best mates. We shared the same interests which were basketball, cars, and of course the ladies. We would often watch the NBA games together on ‘ESPN’ and root for our favorite team the Boston Celtics and on the weekends we would party hard and just chill out together. He was a popular guy who was always cheerful and cracked some lame but funny jokes. He was well toned like an ancient Greek solider and had glowing green eyes and sleek brown hair which forced together made eye lashes flutter. He did indeed haul in a nice catch. He didn’t hang out with many girls besides his pretty blued eyed, brunette girlfriend named Brooke. They were pretty tight knit as they had been going out for four months. Around Brooke it was like he was under a love trance and he becomes a real gentlemen around her. For the both of us it was our last year of school. “We gotta end school with a bang!” Justin would say. I totally agreed, thirteen years of school we had to achieve something grand. Justin and I both played for the boys under 19s social basketball team, it was fun and we would train Tuesdays after school and then compete on Friday nights. It was a great having the balance of school work and basketball. One afternoon after we had finished training, as we were waiting for the sluggish public transport, he brought up the topic of moving up to the premier team. Justin’s face jazzed up with excitement about this idea and I must say he was probably the best player in the team. He had the handling of Allen Iverson, the assists of Nash and the lay ups of Kobe. However the premier team’s Nazi regime was on a whole other level. They had grueling training sessions that starts at 6:30am–8:30am just before school starts every Monday and Wednesday and to top the whole value breakfast meal off a two hour super combo on Tuesday afternoons. “Don’t forget the sauce”, finally the games on Friday night. Soon after he brought up the topic of switching teams the bus came and he departed, while I had to wait an extra twenty minutes in the chilling drizzle. I knew I wasn’t going to attempt to make the premier team. I had seen the lanky boys in that team around school. They either looked drained of energy or they were the boys mucking around and failing class. Justin did well academically and the thought of him moving up a grade I think was a bad idea. But if he did decide to move up I knew he would fit in quite well with his basketball skills upon him. As the school week progressed, he told me as we were feasting on our lunch that he had joined the team. “Good luck mate”, is what popped out of my mouth as I instantaneously replied back. But really behind my blue eyes I was sadden about his choice but I knew ultimately it was his choice so I kept my lips sealed. The next training I had for the social team felt somewhat empty without the presence of my cheerful mate and together we made such a good team. The second term blew past quick and along with it Justin’s bubbly persona. I could really see the physical strain upon him which he never had prior to him joining the premier team. In math’s class his ‘A’ grades dropped to a disappointing ‘D+’. Most importantly our strong friendship started to deteriorate. Usually we would hang out on the weekends and go to a mate’s party or just hang out and do whatever came. But now all he said was “I’m too tired man and I got a sack full of homework I have to catch up on, sorry”. I wasn’t surprised by this answer, so I just hung out with my other mates but he was always in the back of my mind. At school there was barely any chat between us, I suggested that we should catch up and watch a NBA game on Thursday night, he nodded. Thursday came by quick and after dinner I biked over to Justin’s house and he already had drink and snack ready and the comfy leather chairs looked oh so inviting. The 50” Sony plasma screen crowded with vibrant colour screamed out “look at me!” It was the American play off season so the teams were going all out, Boston versus the Nuggets. The atmosphere was not the same Justin still didn’t seem as bright and cheerful as before. The game was intense the Nuggets were leading for the first two quarters but Boston started to creep back up during the third quarter and were almost tied, so it was all down to the fourth quarter as both teams knew how important it was to win and move up to the next round. Our anticipation started to grow as the TV commercials aired before the last quarter. Suddenly the rumpus room door blasted open and Justin’s dad stormed in and with out thinking he ripped the TV cables out even though the lazy remote was clearly lying on the coffee table. “I’ve had enough of this stupid game! Bloody hell look at this report card! It’s your last year of school Justin, how could you after what all your mother and I have done for you”. His dad was obviously upset as he was a successful accountant and came from a family of education. Justin suddenly jumped out of his seat and barked back “back off! It’s my life dad, I do what the I want”, I was stunned by all this commotion and as a good guy I stepped in and attempted to calm the situation down. “Look Justin, maybe your dad is some what right I personally think you should quit the premier team and play social again, look at yourself now man and to be frank I don’t think you can ever make it to the NBA and you’re too short for the league”. Justin shouted to the both of us “I can pull off doing both, watch me!”, then he stormed off out of the house. We never got to see the end of the game but now our relationship was on the line. At school he wouldn’t even say “hi”, he just ignored me fully. Well I was just trying to help and now he treats me like this, “what a bit” is all I could say. I didn’t sit with him in math’s class or hang out with him but I noticed he was still failing maths and did not look any bit happier or energetic. The silent weeks between us had pasted by quick. I heard he was doing okay in the team, not as good as I predicted though. I was still in the social team and we only had two games left until the final match of the year. I had gotten use to training without Justin in the team but no one replaced our game connection we once had in the team. After an intense chain of suicides we had a five minute break. I took a breather outside on the sun drenched bench. Out of nowhere somebody drained out their water bottle on me, I had my fists clenched and turned around to meet the eyes of my prey. A startled face was upon my eyes which then turned into an earnest smile. It was Justin! “Mate I’m sorry about being an asshole, your right I couldn’t juggle everything at once”, and then he mumbled with a cheeky smile “my girlfriend said she would dump me if I kept behaviour like a low life”. I was so happy that my best friend came back from the dead and returned to himself. “Alright man how many more trainings we got left?” he asked me energetically. more

Load up on flavor! It's cold enough in the car to keep meat, veggies safe. He is not a picky eater, just doesn't prefer mayo, and cheese is okay, not a biggie to him. Voting Question: weight loss, for a 40 year old?

I have had over 70 lbs extra for about 15 years and am ready to let it go. I had my last child 7 years ago and have not tried to loose the weight .I will summ up my life . I get up go to work and go to work with out a meal usualy I clean houses and we kick but for about 3 hrs. come home and eat a lunch of sandwitch , then walk the dogs come home get kids at school . get home eat a snack , bad food I am sure. (chips or popcorn) then chill for an hour or so then make dinner and have a drink with hubby about 3- 4 nights a week then hit the sack. weekends about the same but more drinks if we are social. we always walk the dogs on weekend as a family at least one day. not all nights are dinner my husband is a fireman and is not home., so I am ready to work on my diet and need some Ideas on what to start with, I also play the drums 1-2 nights a week and we will have a few drinks at that, I drink vodka and soda, or rum and ginger no beer dont like it. also Pizza love it I have cut back on my drinking as of late. to see if it helps but does not seem to matter. I would day down to 2-3 times a week with hubby. not so much at the Jam sections but food is not somthing I am obsessed with just eat it when hungry. love chees and bread so what to do about that. I am always moving but when I sit am done for the day. should I start by counting my calories. how do I do that what is the best way thanks becky , hey doozy you go first and let me know how it works out>LOL more

There are no good take-out places near my office, so I need advice on quick sack lunches. But there are some caveats that make it tricky: I'm a vegetarian. I'm terrible at getting up in the morning, so I have 5 minutes max to deal with food in the morning. Lunch has to fit in my shoulder bag. So - our eight grader informed us that she does NOT want to take a lunch box to school - and wants her lunch in a brown bag. Setting aside the question is it real or not, we Americans and as well as people in other industrialized nations are being asked to contribute ideas for "going green" and I think we can all feel some degree of social pressure being exerted for each one of us to make some personal sacrifices. Some of these ideas are sensible and will save people money as well as conserving energy. But what you never hear about as a solution to wasteful consumption can be summed up in just one word: *** QUALITY *** I always have to laugh when I see some economics expert talking about "durable goods." What durable goods? American consumers are forced to buy cheap junk designed to fall apart 5 minutes after the warranty period ends. I say it's time we brought respect back to the "Made In USA" label. A $30,000 car should last a lifetime. We shouldn't have to keep replacing our household appliances, electronic devices, and clothing every few years. Planned obsolescence is now the new American way and we must plan the obsolescence of that anti-consumer attitude. Foreign goods are fine and they should be welcome to compete with American products here at home and around the world. But . . . our quality standards must be raised to the highest in the world. This will have a dramatic impact on conserving energy and boost our economy at the same time. No one profits from junk except the junk dealers of this world. There would be much less need to recycle, much less energy wasted on "disposable goods," if products were built to last. Your comments please? more

My son is severly allergic to any kind of dairy. Now that he is in preschool i'm finding it difficult to get creative with the whole lunch thing. I mean how many days should I force pb and J on my kid! He is extremely picky also, and that creates a huge obstacle. He wont eat salad, or many veggies. He doesnt like condiments on his food, and if he see's even a speck of white on anything he suspects its mayo, and refuses to eat. Of course he likes the snack type foods like chips, crackers, ect.
